Dr. Louis Huang
MBBS PhD FRACP

Kidney disease is highly prevalent in our community but is often under-recognised, due to the lack signs or symptoms. Left untreated, kidney failure can develop and significantly change one's lifestyle and life expectancy. With prompt diagnosis and treatment, it is possible to slow down the progression of kidney disease and avoid the need for dialysis or kidney transplantation.

Dr. Louis Huang is a Nephrologist who specialises in the management of kidney diseases. He obtained his medical degree at The University of Melbourne in 2003 and subsequently undertook physician's training at the Austin, Alfred and Monash Medical Centre. After completion of specialist training in 2010, Louis began a Medical PhD in kidney diseases at Monash University. His research was awarded the prestigious NHMRC Dora Lush Postgraduate Scholarship and the Young Investigator Award at the 2011 Australian and New Zealand Society of Nephrology meeting.
