Kidney disease is highly prevalent in our community but is often under-recognised, due to the lack signs or symptoms. Left untreated, kidney failure can develop and significantly change one's lifestyle and life expectancy. With prompt diagnosis and treatment, it is possible to slow down the progression of kidney disease and avoid the need for dialysis or kidney transplantation.
